'Pink Moon' delights Milton Keynes skygazers by turning orange last night

People all over MK have been taking photographs of the spectacular supermoon this week.

On Tuesday night, resident snapped a perfect shot of the Pink Moon from his balcony on Whitehouse.

Last night (Wednesday) the April supermoon was out again in all its glory - but this time it glowed oragne.

Resident Vivienne Harman captured this perfect picture.

The April full moon is a combination of two astronomical phenomena - a full moon which happens while the orb is at its closest distance to the earth.
