Police sell stolen designer items including Prada jacket, Mulberry bag and Apple iPad at bargain prices on eBay in Milton Keynes
Designer bargains are once again being sold off on eBay by local police
The items include stolen goods seized by officers in an investigation, or goods that have been handed in at police stations.
Officers store the items for a while before putting them on the dedicated Thames Valley Police eBay site.
Successful eBay bidders must collect their purchases directly from Central Milton Keynes police station.
Today's offerings include a Red Mulberry Clifton Crossboarded calf leather bag, which has only an hour left before bidding ends. The current price is £209 and there are 13 bidders.
A men's Prada reversible hooded jacket in size 50, brand new and complete with labels, currently stands at £103.99 with eight bids.
Two pre-owned Dolce and Gabbana panda T-shirts have attracted 20 bids, with the price currently standing at £27.00, while a Versace grey sweatshirt has reached £46.00.
A brand new Apple iPad 32GB Space Grey 5th generation has prompted 42 bids and the highest is £195.
There is less interest in collections of coins up for grabs. These include a large number of old sixpences, shillings and pennies.
Thames Valley Police closed their eBay shop when the third lockdown began at the start of the year, but they resumed their listings when non-essential retailers were allowed to reopen last month.
New bargains and treasures are listed every week, all at a starting price of just 99p. All cash raised gets put into the Police Property Act Fund.
