Police take action to reassure residents after spate of burglaries in Milton Keynes

Police have been patrolling the streets to reassure residents following recent burglaries in the West Bletchley area.

Bletchley PCSOs were out on foot conducting reassurance patrols on Saturday evening, due to recent burglaries in the area.

Police posted a series of pictures on social media on Sunday in a bid to explain the increased presence in the area.

"Bletchley PCSOs have been out on foot conducting reassurance patrols this evening due to recent burglaries in the West Bletchley area!," police posted on Twitter.

"Thankfully the waterproof over trousers came in handy!"
