Policeman's son thanks his Milton Keynes school for keeping him safe while his daddy works

While thousands of other youngsters in MK are off school, Jack, as the son of a frontline worker still attends.

This week the five-year-old wrote a message, in his best handwriting and with the help of his mum, to his reception class teacher and the rest of the staff at Oxley Park Academy.

The message read: 'Thank you to Miss Beaney and all the staff at Oxley Park Academy for keeping me safe while my daddy goes to work.'

Mum Lisa said: "The school have been outstanding in the home learning provision as well as emergency care and we wanted them to know how appreciated it is."
