There's a slight chance that further showers will happen on Thursday evening, but it will otherwise be a chilly, increasingly windy afternoon in the South East.

Temperatures are expected to remain cool, the Met Office anticipates highs of 13 degrees tomorrow.

Neither predictors expect an improvement in temperatures, both have 12 degrees as the highest it will reach on Friday.

The Met Office South East outlook is equally bleak, it anticipates: "lighter winds on Saturday, with sunny spells and showers. [A] chilly start on Sunday, then further showers."

Specifically Milton Keynes can expect cloudy weather at similarly mild temperatures on Saturday, with rain more likely to return on Sunday, especially from 4pm onwards.

Despite it being mid-May, the temperature is unlikely to creep above 13 degrees this weekend.
