The rhythmic crew at Milton Court love their 'drummercise' classes, which involve beating giant balls with drumsticks.

Pam, Milton Court Care Homes wellbeing coordinator, hit upon the idea while looking for new ways to keep residents fit and healthy while also keeping their brain active.

"With this drummercise we where able to create a fun environment while socially distanced. This gave residents a chance to forget about Covid and enjoy themselves," said a spokesperson.

"It’s hard being away from their families, Avery Healthcare believes every resident should live their life to the full.

Drummercise takes into account their social, physical and mental well being...It’s always fun to think outside the box," she said.
