The High Court has ordered Imraan Ladak be committed to HM Prison Birmingham for six months after he was being guilty of two counts of contempt of court.

Ladak is the former owner of Kettering Town Football Club and has previously been listed in the Sunday Times Young Rich List.

He lives in MK, where he has worked in medical recruitment for different agencies at director and CEO level, and once owned part of Milto Keynes-based DRC Locums.

He is currently listed as a CEO of city-based OOH Medical, which states its mission is to create a "global platform providing the finest scientific, technological and chemical free health care products, services and solutions for the benefit of all."

Ladak was declared bankrupt on August 25.

The High Court judgement against him was made by His Honour Judge Rajeev Shetty following the case of Pertemps Medical Group (PMG) versus Imraan Ladak.

A hearing on September 25 heard Ladak committed contempt of court by breaching an interim judgement granted in July last year, and a renewal of the same injunction in January this year.

The interim injunction arose in an action by Pertemps Medical Group Limited in which it claims Ladak, its former chief executive officer, had breached contract and pursued a campaign of harassment against the company and its senior directors.

In his judgement, Judge Shetty said: “For his contempt in respect of the First Contempt Application the Defendant stand committed to HM Prison Birmingham for a period of three months, and for his contempt in respect of the Second Contempt Application the Defendant stand committed to HM Prison Birmingham for a further period of three months."

He added: "The said sentences are to be served consecutively from the date of the Defendant’s Surrender, or in

default of his Surrender, his apprehension.”

A warrant was issued for the committal of Ladak to take place today (Wednesday).

He has been ordered to make an interim payment of £50,000 costs to Pertemps Medical Group by January 28 2021.
