Rise in new Covid cases in Milton Keynes today
The number of Covid cases has risen in MK, with 19 people testing positive over the past 24 hours.
Today the city's seven day infection rate rose very slightly to 20.4 cases per 100,000 people. This compares to the national average of 25.3
Nationally, 2,685 people have tested positive over the same period and there have been 17 Covid-linked deaths within 28 days of a positive test.
Throughout the UK, 33,843,580 people have now received the first dose of Covid vaccine and 13,201,811 of these have also had the second dose.
