Ross Kemp films documentary about our hero NHS staff at Milton Keynes hospital

Ross Kemp has spent days at Milton Keynes hospital filming an ITV documentary about how hard the heroic doctors and nurses are working during the coronavirus crisis.

He promises the film, to be shown on Thursday evening, will shed light on the real battle against the virus and the 'sacrifices that NHS staff.

Ross, 55, was allowed access inside the hospital to see for himself how staff are fighting the battle against Covid-19.

He announced details today on social media about the show, which is called Ross Kemp: On the NHS Frontline , and has urged everybody to watch.

He said: "My team and I have been embedded in Milton Keynes to tell the story of Covid-19. To show you the sacrifices that NHS staff are making on our behalf,"

"We’ve been filming on the frontline with @NHSuk staff as they deal with the coronavirus pandemic and we’ve been following the patients who are fighting Covid-19."

Ross Kemp: On the NHS Frontline starts at 8.30pm.

Many staff at Mk hospital are working extra shifts to cope with the unprecedented pressure of Covid-19. So far there has been 45 deaths at the hospital of patients who tested positive.
