Nathan Richardson is running to every professional football club's stadium in England and Wales as part of a charity run to raise money for MIND and Super Josh - he has so far raised £4,000, at the time of writing.

On his arrival in MK today (Monday, October 19) he was welcomed onto the pitch by MK Dons, where he posed for photos with manager Russell Martin.

Nathan has since checked into the local Wetherspoons in Midsummer Boulevard, according to his Facebook page, for some dinner - his table number is 605 if you would like to order him something through the Wetherspoons app.

On his self-funded run, using only his legs throughout, he has so far ran more than 1200 miles and said he has tried to run between 50 and 100 miles a week.

He said: "I am believed to be the first person to attempt this and I am expecting this challenge to take around 6 months in total."

Nathan, who carries all his kit with him and eats and sleeps 'wherever' he can, started at Manchester United's ground, Old Trafford, on March 7 but had to stop due to the coronavirus pandemic lockdown.

He heads to Northampton Town Football Club's PTS Stadium next.
