Study names Milton Keynes as the best city in the UK for couples
Milton Keynes has been named as the best city in the UK for couples by a study from jewellers Diamonds Factory.
The research looked at the best cities and attractions for couples to visit on Valentine’s Day, and rated Milton Keynes as top of the cities category.
The rankings are based on TripAdvisor reviews with the highest percentage and overall number of positive reviews aimed at couples.
Milton Keynes received an overall rating of 93.81 per cent, with the study citing the city’s vibrant nightlife, diverse dining experiences, and top-rated hotels and activities in awarding it top spot.
Belfast in Northern Ireland was rated second with a score of 93.78 per cent, while Hull was third in the standings scoring 93.71 per cent.
At the other end of the scale, Bradford was ranked the most unfriendly city for couples scoring 83.80 per cent.
The study also looked at the top attractions for couples to visit, with Babylon Tours, a sightseeing tour agency in London topping this metric with 504 reviews.
Meanwhile the Tower of London was top of the rankings for attractions for couples with the highest number of four-star couple reviews with 14,666.
