Barrowman was on hand to speak with volunteers and assure those about to be vaccinated they had nothing to worry about.
The 53-year-old television personality's appearance was also linked to The Sun's Jab Army campaign. A project, that with the help of celebrity influencers, is encouraging those who are capable to get involved with vaccination volunteer programmes.

Hide AdBarrowman spoke to ITV News encouraging others to volunteer and support the vaccination rollout, he said: "I think it is wonderful, we should be completely behind everybody who is volunteering and people who are getting the vaccine. I want to be a part of it, I've been isolating, so have my family, let's get it back to normal."


The mass vaccination centre at Saxon Court opened last Monday (February 8).
The latest figures released by NHS England shows the cumulative amount of vaccines given in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes stands at 152,000.
