Ten-year-old Milton Keynes boy plans to chop off his long hair for charity

A boy who has growing his hair for two years is to have his long locks cut off to help a chairty.

Gabriel Rowcroft-James let his hair grow until it is past his shoulders.

But now the caring youngster is having a short back and sides - and donating his locks to the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children who lose their hair to illness.

" As well as donating my hair, I am trying to raise the cost of making at least one wig – which is £500. I have set up a Just Giving page to do this," Gabriel told the Citizen.

His mum Rozi, who has similar long blonde locks, is also having her hair cut to support him and generate more donations.
