This incredible hairstyle has won a Milton Keynes woman praise from long hair guru Patrick Cameron

Suzie Stokes, 61, has been hairdressing since she was 12 years old and has been following the famous Patrick Cameron's creations for the past 25 years.

During lockdown, Patrick has streamed a live tutorial every Monday morning, and he suggests that viewers have a go themselves, using his work as inspiration for their own interpretation.

Hundreds of people send in photographs of their own efforts and one is chosen each week to be promoted on his Facebook and Instagram page.

This week Suzie, whose hairdressing business if called Pin Up, was declared the outright winner.

Patrick said: "Congratulations to Suzie Stokes @Pinup from Milton Keynes. She created this beautiful 'Loop and Twist Texture' hairstyle inspired by my demonstration on my Monday Live Session. Well done Suzie."

Suzie said the style took her about an hour to produce.

"This is something that people all over the world are contributing to, so I felt extremely honoured to have won this week."

She added: " I’ve been in hairdressing since I was 12 years old, and still love playing with hair, especially creating a ‘Pin-Up’."
