Three arrested and drug deal disrupted during police e-bike patrol in Milton Keynes

Police arrested three people on warrants, seized suspected Class A drugs, found a lost car and more, in a one-day patrol in Milton Keynes.

Thames Valley Police say that its team had a busy day of e-bike patrols on Friday, May 1. This included disrupting a drug deal, seizing a bag of suspected Class A drugs and completing five stop and searches under the section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act.

They said they arrested three people on warrants for Fail To Appear and/or Breach of Crown Court Bail, issued a Community Resolution for Public Order and attended five additional incidents. An abandoned building was also secured and a lost car was found.

The e-bikes are a handy piece of equipment that allow officers to reach areas that are inaccessible by car, such as alleyways and underpasses. The e-bikes allow police to move quickly through the busy urban spaces of Central Milton Keynes while staying visible and approachable to the public.
