Kate Ayres, manager at Acorn Nursery Stony Stratford, said “Pre Covid, we’d join our friends at Elizabeth House on a regular basis for picnic style lunches and weekly activities, which the residents loved.

"Unfortunately during lockdown we were unable to do that, but we did walk the grounds of the house holding up our signs of positive messages! So despite these difficult times, we were delighted to have been able to join the residents and still sing our Christmas songs to them this year.”

A social enterprise, Acorn has more than 30 years’ experience operating nurseries and offering childcare provisions in and around the Milton Keynes area.
