Two dozen more people test positive for coronavirus today in Milton Keynes

The number of confirmed new coronavirus cases in MK has today risen by 24.

They total number of positive tests in MK now stands at 316.

Yesterday there was optimism as only six new patients had tested positive over a 24 hour period. But today's figure is one of the highest since the pandemic began.

Nationally, today's number of new confirmed cases is 4,605, bringing the total number up to 98,476

The latest number of daily Covid-19 deaths is 761. This brings the total number of Covid-19 associated UK deaths in hospital to 12,868.
