Ten-year-old Kale Harris-Herbert formed The Stencil Pencils in April with brother Johnson,11, and sister Indiana, who is six.

The trio wrote a song called Quarantine/Covid19 as part of a lockdown homework project and performed it to beat the boredom of being confined to their Wavendon home.

On Saturday the siblings performed on CITV show Scrambled! in a special talent contest - and they won outright after impressing judges Harry Smiles, Billie Eyelash and Will.I.Phone.

The band has already appeared on local radio Secklow Sounds and has done live performances in MK. They are adding the finishing touches to a Christmas single called It's Christmas.

Meanwhile Kale has been hailed an inspiration to all youngsters on the autistic spectrum by Anna Kennedy Online, a charity that raises awareness of autism.

A spokesman for the charity said: "Kale Harris-Herbert suffers life really hard as he has Asperger’s. He has no friends and finds it extremely difficult to make any friends within his peer group. He is a grand advocate for overcoming his disabilities."

The siblings' proud mum Karla said: "It's as though I have a jamming session in my living room. Even their elder sister Amber, who is 18, is singing along."
