A new GP surgery built to serve more than 3,000 patients is offering people a virtual tour of its £9.5m premises.

The Whitehouse surgery opened in Dorset Way on the Whitehouse estate on December 1.

It is being run by OneMedical Group, a provider of urgent and primary care services across the UK, and will serve families in the Western Expansion Area of MK.

The building boasts specialist consulting rooms, its own café and even a base set aside for use by Thames Valley Police.

Today, with Covid restriction preventing a launch event, OneMedical bossess have released a flythrough video, which can be viewed here .

Maxine Roberts, business manager at Whitehouse Surgery, said: “We’re very excited to be able to show off the Surgery even though we can’t throw open the doors and welcome everyone in!

“This is a state-of-the-art health space and we hope that local residents and interested patients are impressed with what they see. We have an experienced team here at Whitehouse Surgery who can’t wait to get started.”

The surgery's patients will be able to access digital appointments through the LIVI app, as well as on-site consultations. Once the LIVI app is downloaded, allows them to access GP and clinician appointments on-the-go via their smartphone, as well as allowing them to book a digital consultation up to seven days in advance.

Ahead of opening the doors, the surgery had in excess of 3,000 patients expressing interest in registering at the new service.
