The woman has two young children and they both have autism and need strict routines to be able to cope,

The first attack from vandals came on her partner's van when it was parked outside their home on an MK estate.

"A brick was thrown through it’s windscreen. This resulted in him no longer being allowed to use the van to and from work," she wrote on social media.

This means the mum has been forced to get the children up extra early and load them into the family's mobility car to drop her partner to work for 7am.

"Anyone who knows anything about autism will know that means their sleep is disrupted even more," she wrote.

She added: "To save them from being disrupted further with two car trips, which is difficult for them, I’ve been paying extra for them to go to their school’s breakfast club. This has cost an extra £40 a week.

"Then their evening dinner is late because I load them back in the car at teatime to fetch my partner from work. Another issue.

"Financially, two taxis per day, with no direct bus route, for my partner, are not an option, even without the breakfast clubs. Life has been extra difficult because of all this."

To cap it all, today, the woman discovered the family's mobility car had a couple of bricks thrown at it overnight, causing a broken windscreen and grill..

"This will cost us £100 excess. A large part of my children’s Xmas present money. We’re so upset. My nine year old asked: “Why does someone hate us so much?' This was heartbreaking."

The woman, who has reported the vandalism to police, asked: "Has anyone else locally had this problem? Are we being targeted or was this second time a coincidence?"

She concluded: "How heartless these people must be.".
