All are passed over by prospective adopters because they are either too old, too snuffly or too much trouble because they need daily medication.

Shelly is described as a "stunning" tortie who loves a cuddle. But she is 11 years old - 77 in human years.

Bunny has a "sniffle problem", said an RSPCA spokesman.

"He's a cat who is looking for someone who doesn’t mind his sniffles - a tall ask, but this chap has so much love to give and really can’t help it," she said.

Black and white Ted has a kidney problem that means he needs daily medication.

"He’s such a good boy taking this and still wants fusses afterwards," said the spokesman.

Suki is 10 years old with beautiful long locks and is looking for a retirement home where she can be the only cat.

Finally, there is Max, an 11 year old gent has FIV so is looking for an indoor only home where he is the only cat

" We are desperate to find these special kitties homes of their own," said the spokesman. " These cats really are the definition of rescue. If you can offer a home to one of our Unhomeables, please please get in touch. If you are unable to adopt at the present time, please share."
