Pete Winkelman and Alec Stewart will bowl over charity ball guests

Age UK Milton Keynes is thrilled to be joining forces with children’s cancer charity Niamh’s Next Step to hold a fabulous fundraising evening on Monday, July 2 at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel at stadiummk.

Alec Stewart, England’s most-capped cricketer ever, will enthral guests with his experiences of leading the England team to victory. People are welcome to hear the opening batsman and wicketkeeper’s inspiring cricket tips and exciting memories of world class cricket.

They can also swap cricket stories with the Radio 5 Live pundit whose skill and determination took him to the pinnacle of a sporting career, and help raise funds to make a difference to your local community.

Tickets are £10 and include a buffet and live music from The Arcane. A highlight of the evening will be an auction of sporting and showbiz memorabilia and a raffle with some very choice prizes.

Age UK Milton Keynes is delighted to confirm MK Dons chairman Pete Winkleman has kindly agreed to be compere for the evening which kicks off at 5.30pm.

Come and enjoy the heady mix of show business and sport in a sophisticated setting.”
