Hear them some time after 7pm.

THE MMG Three Counties Battle of the Bands Competition is nearing it’s end, and this Saturday night the county final is being hosted at the SNO!bar in Xscape.

Those through and ready to do battle are Project Noise (right), The Good Hookers, Sick Leave and Love Fiend.

Last year’s finalists The Dave Vegas Project were set to headline, but unforseen circumstances have put paid to that.

In their place, you’ll be able to catch the wonderfully monikered Ninja Goldfish.

Doors open at 7.30pm, tickets are a fiver.

ALSO on Saturday, popular retro roar Dollar Shake returns to The Buszy for it’s last outing of 2012.

Entry is at retro prices too – just two quid gets you in from 9pm, and the music rolls through to 2am at the Eldergate venue.

On Sunday evening, you’ll catch Canterbury live at Northampton’s Roadmender.

Their last UK tour sold-out...will this one do the same?
