Police and council officials are working together to control unauthorised camps in Rockingham Drive, Linford Wood.

PC Alan Nisbet said: “We are working closely with our partners and liaising with the legal owner of the land, to police the unauthorised encampment and deal with any illegal activities. As with all unauthorised encampments we support our partners in the MK Council.”

Chris Londy from the Council’s Regulatory Unit said: “Working with the various landowners we have initiated legal action and are working with the occupier’s welfare agencies and ultimately the courts to obtain a solution. We are pleased to have support from Thames Valley Police.”

Thames Valley Police will continue to work with its partners to effectively manage unauthorised encampments in the area.
