Police are appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old boy was robbed in Ridgeway, Milton Keynes.

At 9pm last Monday, the victim was walking towards the underpass linking Galley Hill to Fullers Slade when he saw a group of six boys that he had passed earlier that evening.

To avoid the group he walked up the ramp and crossed the H1 road but was approached by a couple of boys from the group. One of the boys spoke to him and asked him what he had in his pockets.

The victim did not reply and was punched on his side, but managed to run away from the group who were unable to catch him.

The victim had slight bruising but did not require hospital attention. Nothing was stolen.

The offenders were white boys all about 17-years-old.

The first offender who punched the victim was 5ft 10ins tall, slim build and was wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up. The top had the Adidas logo across the chest.

The second boy was 6ft tall, skinny build and was wearing a red beanie style hat and a dark blue polo shirt. This boy has a distinctive neck area as it was very skinny.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the boys in the area around this time should contactdetecttive constable Wendy Cissell from Milton Keynes police station via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
