Police appeal following Fullers Slade collision

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision in Fullers Slade on Friday afternoon.

A black Yamaha three-wheel motorcycle was involved in a collision in Slade Lane, close to the junction with the H2 Millers Way, at around 12.10pm.

The rider, a 42-year-old man from Milton Keynes, suffered a serious leg injury and was flown by Air Ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

“It is not believed that any other person was involved in the collision, and the road remained closed for nearly two hours as the patient was treated by paramedics,” said Sgt Simon Hills, from the Joint Operation Unit for Roads Policing.

“Officers from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing were also carrying out the necessary enquiries at the scene.

“We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the vehicle collide with a road sign before coming to rest on the road, trapping the rider. If anyone has any information they can contact PC Daniel Smith from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing on 101.”

Anyone with information can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
