Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in finding a man who has been reported missing.

Daniel Mitchell, aged 28, of Pencarrow Place, Fishermead, was last seen on Monday afternoon (3/10) in The Plough pub in Simpson, where he was seen drinking with several men.

Daniel is white, 6ft, stocky, unshaven, and was wearing a blue shirt and beige checked three-quarter-length trousers and multi-coloured neon effect trainers.

Det Insp David Dachtler, overseeing the search for Daniel, said: “We are growing increasing concerned for Daniel’s welfare as we believe he could be in a distressed state. We’re keen to hear from anyone with information about his whereabouts, in particular the men who were seen drinking with him in the pub on Monday afternoon; I would very much like to hear from them as his intentions on leaving their company are really important. I would also ask anyone who has seen or heard from him since Monday afternoon to contact us.”

Anyone with information about Daniel’s whereabouts is asked to contact the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505, quoting URN 1035 of 3/10/11.
