Police caution husband in Milton Keynes '˜revenge porn' case

The mum-of-two received an email with a photo taken from a swingers’ website of her performing a sex act.

The sender was her estranged husband Ian Boreham, who threatened to circulate the photo to family and friends.

Mr Boreham, 57, who lives in Litchfield Down, Walnut Tree, this month received a police caution for sending an obscene/menacing message via public communication.

His victim, who is too embarrassed for her name to be printed, said: “I was with this man for 27 years and we’re going through a bitter divorce battle. What he did was unforgiveable.

“I feel humiliated, angry and violated. It’s almost like I’ve been raped.”

She said the photo was taken around 10 years ago, without her consent or knowledge.

“He must have had the phone in his hand at the time and taken a selfie while I performed the sexual act.

“I had no idea he’d taken a photograph of me, let alone published it on a national website for swingers.”

The photo shows a hyperlink to ‘swinging heaven.co.uk’ which confirms it was published on their website.

The site is understood to have privacy settings so members can only view explicit photos with the permission of the person who posted them.

The soon-to-be ex wife said: “I would never ever agree to belong to a swingers’ club and I would certainly never agree to my picture being on there.”

Mr Boreham, who is a company director, declined to comment.

A police spokesman said revenge porn was a “particularly distressing” crime for the victim.

“Thames Valley Policee take this crime very seriously,” he said.

Revenge porn offenders can be jailed for up to two years if they are found guilty of distributing of a private sexual image of someone without their consent.

More than 200 people have been prosecuted since the revenge porn law came into force in 2015, the use of the internet to “control” victims is rising, say police.
