Police in Milton Keynes take part in national knife surrender


The surrender starts today (Tuesday) and runs until next Monday (September 24), during which members of the public will be able to safely dispose of any type of knife or bladed article.
The aim of the operation is to remove dangerous weapons from the street, reduce knife crime and raise awareness of the dangers and consequences of carrying a knife.

Hide AdOfficers will also be holding a number of activities during the week, which will include the use of knife detection arches and engagement with schools and retailers.
Knife surrender bins have been placed in the front counter of Milton Keynes Police Station.
