Police investigate alleged robbery and false imprisonment in Milton Keynes

Police are investigating an incident of alleged robbery and false imprisonment in Milton Keynes.

The incident happened on April 26, when the victim, a 36-year-old man, returned to his flat in The Gables, Wolverton, at about 12.30 pm, to find his flatmate, a man aged 40, tied up.

Two male offenders, who were also inside the flat, demanded money from the first victim.

One of the offenders then assaulted the 36-year-old, before stealing mobile phones and cash, say police.

The victims believe one of the offenders was carrying a knife.

Both of the victims escaped through a window.

> Daryl Cable, aged 23, of Kingsley Road, Luton, has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and false imprisonment.

He appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on Thursday with the case committed to Aylesbury Crown Court.

A 34-year-old man from Milton Keynes has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and released on police bail until May 25.
