INLAND Revenue employees were forced back into the car parks again yesterday after a suspicious package was discovered.
Management took the decision to evacuate Bowback House to allow police to investigate the package, before it was deemed safe and the staff were allowed back inside.
A police spokesman said: “A suspicious package was discovered and they made the decision to evacuate. It was recovered and was not dangerous.
“We will continue to investigate.”
The scare comes two weeks after another larger evacuation took place, which was thought to have been caused by a leak in the air conditioning.
