Police search for knifeman after robbery on Milton Keynes redway

Police have released an E-Fit image following a knifepoint robbery in MK yesterday (Friday).

The crime took place on the redway behind McColls store in Highgrove Hill on Great Holm at about 8.55pm.

A 33-year-old man was walking his dog when he was approached by a male he did not know.

The offender pulled a knife from his jeans pocket and demanded property from the victim.

The victim refused and the offender then left the scene empty-handed in the direction of Crownhill.

He is described as white, aged between 35 and 43 and about 5ft 8ins tall. He has patchy facial hair and "fat lips", say police and he was wearing a dirty grey hooded top, navy jeans and a dark coloured baseball cap.

The man is described as having an Eastern European accent.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Sebastian Kuzoe, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I would like to speak to the man in this image, or anyone who recognises him.

“If you know who he is, or have any information about him, or about this incident, please call Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting reference number 43200386884.”
