Police seek witnesses after Sunday morning hit and run leaves man with serious injuries in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Wavendon this morning, which left a 67 year-old cyclist in hospital with serious injuries.

The collision took place at around 10.30am between a dark-coloured car and a pedal cycle on the A5130 Newport Road, Wavendon, close to the junction of Stockwell.

The 67-year-old male rider of a pedal cycle sustained serious injuries and is being treated at Milton Keynes General Hospital.

The dark-coloured car failed to stop at the scene of the collision.
