Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault in Netherfield.

The incident happened in The Hide, between 12.15am and 12.30am on Saturday.

The victim, a 30-year-old woman, was walking towards The Hide from the direction of Farnborough to go to a friend’s house, and was close to the Farthing Grove roundabout, when she was pushed from behind.

She fell to the floor and hit her head on the ground, causing a cut to her eyebrow. She was also either kicked or punched while she lay on the ground, which left her with swelling and bruising on her cheek.

Detective Sergeant Nicki Corani-Young, who is investigating the incident, said: “The victim saw three white men running away after the assault. Two of them were wearing dark hooded tops and the other was wearing a grey one with a black baseball cap. Obviously, we are keen to trace these men and anyone with any information should contact police urgently.”

Anyone with any information about this incident should contact Milton Keynes CID via the Force enquiry centre on 101.
