Going by the initial documents in a design and access statement submitted to Milton Keynes Planning Committee, the proposals outline that four four-bed houses and five three-bed houses could be built over Fido and Felix pet shop and its adjoining car park, which is located just off of Wolverton Road, in Great Linford.

However, when this newspaper contacted the pet shop to ask if it was closing down - given the plans to build houses on top of it - a member of staff was confused and said the company wasn't shutting.

She went on to say the plans were wrong and that she believes the houses could be built behind the shop - despite drawings in the planning application showing the developers', Hunterville Limited, and the architects' proposals to demolish the shop and build over it.

The architecture firm which submitted the site drawings, Ellis and Healey, were contacted twice about the issue but were unable to clarify where the houses are going to be built.

This newspaper then contacted Milton Keynes Planning Committee which was also unable to clarify the plans.
