Conservative Iain Stewart has retained his seat in Milton Keynes South.

Receiving 27,601 votes, Mr Stewart took more than 8,000 more than Labour candidate Andrew Pakes, who took 18,929 votes.

Speaking on the podium after the announcement, Mr Stewart said: “It has been a fantastic honour representing MK South for the last term and I’m looking forward to another.”
