The reopening of essential shops has been grouped with access to outdoor pubs as part of the second stage of a four stage plan to ease lockdown restrictions.

Shops will reopen after schools which are opening on March 8, and after further outdoor restrictions have eased. On March 29 outdoor meetings between households of up to six people will be allowed.

Outdoor sports will also return on March 29 for adults, children's sporting activities will return when schools reopen.
