Milton Keynes Council reveals plans to improve town and parish council partnership

A new document will be implemented from February 23 to further allow MK Council to adopt the joined-up approach its taken since the start of the pandemic.

MK Council was the first unitary authority in the country to be fully parished and has been recognised nationally for the way it works collaboratively with local organisations across MK.

In a statement on the MK Council website, cabinet member for public realm and council housing, Councillor Emily Darlington said: “The Together We Can approach sets out new co-operative ways of working in partnership with town and parish councils to deliver what really matters to our communities.
