McDonald’s has officially rolled out table service in Milton Keynes following a successful trial.
In a radical shake-up of the brand, McDonald’s has been testing a new concept whereby customers place their order via our new digital kiosks and then have their food brought to them.
It follows the fast food chain’s struggle to increase profits.
A spokesman for McDonald’s UK said at the start of the trial of 14 restaurants: “To meet customers’ evolving expectations we are investing in our restaurants to create an exciting new environment and improve the customer experience.”
The idea has been successfully launched in other McDonald’s markets including France, Germany and Australia.
The fast food giant has been suitably impressed with the reception at its Brickhill restaurant in MK that it made it official last week.
