Pupils from the early years and year one at Priory Common School in Bradwell Village have been busy helping children in hospital.
The youngsters used some of the proceeds raised from ticket sales of their performance, A Miracle in Town, to purchase DVDs for both children’s wards at Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH).
They raised £100 and were able to buy 19 films for the children to enjoy. Pauline Spenceley, who gratefully accepted the DVDs on behalf of MKUH, said: “It can be very daunting for children who are in hospital. The DVDs will be put to great use in helping the children feel at ease and will be a great distraction. Thank you very much to all the children from Priory Common School.”
