A prisoner has been found dead following another hanging incident inside Woodhill jail.
The man, who was discovered on Monday evening, is understood to have been on remand.
He is the second person to be found hanged at Woodhill in five weeks following the death of transgender inmate Joanne Latham.
She died at the all-male prison on November 27 in a year that has seen Woodhill’s suicide rate almost equal its highest record to date.
There is believed to have been three self-inflicted deaths during 2015 – not including Ms Latham.
An investigation was launched by the independent Prisons and Probation Ombudsman shortly after her death.
An inquest into the prisoner’s death will be held on Wednesday, January 6 at MK Coroner’s Court.
