Prisoner who was transferred to Milton Keynes is charged with beating fellow inmate to death

A prisoner who was transferred to HMP Woodhill after being arrested following the murder of an inmate at HMP Peterborough in December last year (2015) has been charged.

Terry Ojuederie, 42, from Watford, was pronounced dead at the scene on December 9 after police were called with reports of violence inside HMP Peterborough at about 1.45am.

A 25-year-old man, also a prisoner at HMP Peterborough, was arrested on the day and charged yesterday (March 2) with the murder of Terrence Ojuederie.

It is understood the victim shared his cell with one other man.

Following the incident he was transferred to HMP Woodhill in Milton Keynes and bailed in order for him to continue serving his sentence. He is due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on April 6.
