Protesters to hold demonstrations against air strikes in Syria

A campaign group has organised a protest against the UK launching air strikes against Islamic State militants in Syria.

Prime Minister David Cameron told MPs in the House of Commons today that taking military action would make Britain “safer”.

MK People’s Assembly will hold a demonstration against war plans in the city centre on Saturday.

We live in dangerous times,” a spokesman said.

“Times when our leaders tell us that we have to tighten our belts whilst beating the drums of war and finding endless money for it.

“The plans to bomb Syria are incoherent and dangerous.

“This is a critical moment in British politics. We need to do everything we can to stop the government taking us into a fourth war in 14 years.”

If you would like to join the protest, join the group outside Costa / M&S in CMK this Saturday at 12pm.
