Queues expected overnight in intu Milton Keynes ahead of the iPhone 6 release


Techies desperate to get their hands on the new Apple iPhone 6 are expected to queue overnight in Milton Keynes shopping centre.

It’s been dubbed Apple’s best phone to date - and with its larger screen size and upgraded camera its no wonder shoppers are flocking to intu Milton Keynes.

Martin Hindson, general manager of intu, said: “We can confirm that the toilets of Oak Court will be open all night to provide a service for people queuing for the launch of Apple’s iPhone 6 tomorrow.

“Our security team will be on hand throughout the evening as we are expecting queues to start as early as this evening.

“The Apple store will open at 8am to iPhone customers and 9.30am for everyone else.

“We have also been informed that Apple will be providing complimentary teas/coffees and pastries in the morning for queuing customers.”
