Super Mario, Minnie Mouse and Pokemon favourite Pikachu are just some of the fancy dress costumes pupils donned for St Paul’s Catholic School’s first ever Race For Life.
Students, teachers and staff took to the sports field to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
Over 250 participants braved soaring temperatures to run or walk the 3km race.
PE teacher Amy Thompson said: “I regularly run in the Race For Life and personally support it as a charity. It was only when I was signing up to register myself at this year’s 10km event in MK that I saw a link on the website to host your own school event.
“It was really good fun and we hope to raise lots of money for a very worthwhile cause.”
