The retrial of a man accused of the murder of Rachel Manning is due to start today at Luton Crown Court.

In February a jury failed to reach a verdict in the case of Shahidul Ahmed, a 41-year-old restaurant worker of Chestnut Avenue, Bletchley.

The body of Rachel Manning, 19, was found at Woburn Golf Club in 2000.

Her boyfriend Barri White was convicted of her murder in 2002 but acquitted in 2008, after serving six years in jail. His friend Keith Hyatt was convicted for perverting the course of justice.

His conviction was also quashed.

Mr Ahmed denies murder.
