AN eight-year-old girl lost her pride and joy – her long dark hair – in order to do sick children proud,.
Caring schoolgirl Rachel Lovett-Riddy asked for 12 inches of her hair to be chopped off so it could be donated to the Little Princess Trust.
The trust provides wigs and hairpieces for children who suffer hair loss through cancer treatment. Rachel also asked for sponsorship and donations so she could give some cash to the hard-working charity.
Her hair was cut last week at Evolve in Fenny Stratford.,
Rachel’s mum Debbie said said that so far, through an appeal page on www.justgiving.com/Rachel-Lovett-Riddy, Rachel has raised more than £670.
