Motor racing fans enjoyed the premiere of Lauda: The Untold Story, at Cineworld on Thursday evening.
The film revisits the 1976 crash involving Austrian F1 driver Niki Lauda, before examining how the industry has worked to improve safety in the sport.
It’s airing was perfectly timed too – coming on the eve of last weekend’s F1 Silverstone spectacular. After the screening, presenter Suzi Perry hosted a Q&A session with director Hannes Schalle, F1 safety car driver Bernd Maylander and former F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella, which was broadcast live from MK to cinemas nationwide.
