Radcliffe A Level students achieve great results

The Radcliffe School students, parents and staff are celebrating some outstanding achievements with A Level exams today.

Overall, students achieved a 99.1 per cent pass rate with 44 per cent gaining A Star to B grades. Some subjects were singled out for praise including Forensic Science, where 66 per cent of students received a Distinction Star, Sport where 75 per cent received Distinction Star and Business with 33 per cent receiving Distinction Star.

Individuals who were among a group of high achieving students were Hana Akhtar, who achieved two Distinction Stars and two Distinctions, James Macdonald-Knowlson who achieved two Distinction Stars, one Distinction and one Merit and Israr Ul Haq Mahmood who earned one Distinction Star, one Distinction and two Merits.

A Radcliffe School spokesman said: “Congratulations to all of our students who achieved their personal target grades and very well done to all who gained a place at University.”
