RESULTS: Ousedale school congratulates students on their success

Ousedale School has enjoyed yet another year of outstanding results.

52 per cent of entries gained an A*-B grade and 25 per cent of entries graded A*-A.

This once again demonstrates the excellent standards that have been set over the past 10 Years, said headteacher Sue Carbert.

The school would like to congratulate all students and staff who have worked so hard to contribute to individual and school success.

The very high expectations that we set for ourselves, to maintain and improve our academic standards, has once again been achieved.

This is of credit to all involved.

Whilst so many students have achieved their personal goals and are taking up their 1st choice Higher Education places, there have also been some truly exceptional performances.

The following students achieved all A* and A grades in their major A2 courses. Sam McCardal-Kilby (3 x A* and 1 x A)

Libby Daniells and Peter McLean (2 A* and 2 As)

Ed Dean (4 x A grades)

Finn Hill (2 x A* and 1 x A)

Bethany Heron (1 x A* and 2 x A)

James Sanderson and Robin Stephenson (3 x A grades).

In addition, Morgan Page and Danielle Sherrock achieved 2 x Distinction* in their Level 3 BTEC Courses.
